This customer's product is a flexible bag that provides convenience and portability for the consumer. They needed to automate their packing and increase their line speeds to keep up with market demands.
But most importantly, they needed equipment that could reliably index the flexible products into position and a packing style that gently handled and transported their flexible bags into the shipping case.
Our Model 600 robot packer was the solution, integrated with timing conveyor that provides indexing and product positioning for the flexible packs. Vacuum grippers provide gentle and secure transport for the packs from conveyor to shipper.
The packer runs multiple bag and case sizes, and can pack one or multiple cases at the same time, depending on the product and configuration. All changeovers are quickly completed at the touchscreen panel.
